Website Change Monitor and Alert

Monitor websites for content changes and get Slack alerts only when something real updates.

Most monitoring tools fail on JavaScript-rendered pages or get blocked by anti-bot. This template uses Bright Data Web Unlocker to scrape any URL, Claude AI to detect visible content changes (ignoring timestamps, build IDs, and HTML noise), and Airtable to store the URL list and history.

What you need:

• Airtable account (the template includes the base structure)
• Bright Data account with Web Unlocker zone
• Anthropic API key (Claude)
• Slack workspace

How it works:

1. Pulls active URLs from your Airtable base

2. Scrapes each page with Bright Data Web Unlocker

3. Compares the new HTML to the last stored version

4. If different, Claude summarizes what changed in plain English

5. Airtable stores the new snapshot, timestamp, and change summary

6. Slack alerts only on real content changes (skips first runs and structural noise)
